Hey everyone! How are you doing? Keeping busy? I know I am (granted there are definitely some days that are more productive than others). I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the fun things I've been doing while in self-isolation! 1) Baking and cooking. I love having the time and the energy to make amazing foods for Dylan and I. So far, I've made chocolate croissants, home-made whole wheat cheeze-its, vanilla cake, home-made pasta, and salmon and orzo salad. (Recipes linked in case you want to try any!)
2) Playing games. Card games and board games are a favorite go-to, especially Throw Throw Burrito (we just got it at Target). 3) Finding ways to be active. One of my daily goals is to reach 10,000 steps. So between at-home workouts, walks, and runs, I'm trying my best to stay active as possible. Sometimes this even means I'll run or dance around the house too! 4) Creating new content. Having the chance to focus on Bun Up, Bar Down has given me a lot of purpose. From creating graphics to sitting down and recording a video or editing, the platform has given me a greater sense of purpose. 5) Binge-watching. I know it's not the healthiest thing to do in the world, but when have we ever had ample time to sit down and watch one of our favorite shows or a new show from beginning to end? I'm honestly having so much fun sitting on the couch, eating something good, and just sitting all snuggled up in a blanket. 6) Arts and crafts. Did you know that colored pencils turn into water colors when you dip them into water? Well I didn't know that until a couple of days ago! I'm not the best artist in the world, but it's honestly so relieving to see some colors on a piece of paper. What have you been up to? Is there anything you've done that I should try? Let me know in the comments! I hope you have a happy and healthy week! ~E
